Welcome to Quarter 2
In the second half of this course we will dig in to some more involved content to share through the Read/Write Web beginning with three large modules in a row lasting two weeks each. Work in this quarter will involve some extra hardware and software requirements as referenced in the introduction video on the home page including printers, digital cameras, FLIP cameras, and webcams, as well as some specific software such as Photostory 3 and Audacity.
With each of these larger scale projects, planning will be crucial. Take your time to create a quality storyboard for each of these projects, and use it to make your productions seem natural and flow well. This storyboard template is a good one to use, however if you find another that you prefer, you are more than welcome to put it to use.
Nearer to the end of this quarter, we will be investigating some exciting new applications of Augmented Reality that are really cool as well as a fun alternative to blogging called a Glog. This quarter will require some more creativity, but your end products in each module will be more exciting and fun to share.
Congratulations for making it to the halfway point, and have fun as we complete this semester of creating content and learning by doing.
